What is it these days with men who can't grow a moustache trying to grow a moustache? Get rid of the cock-duster Mumford, you look a berk.

I've enjoyed this series much more than the first, which I found a bit predictable and 'you don't say'. This series has been more surprising and like Jonny says, a lot more  :o

I was just listening to Genesis (please don't judge me) and one of their songs has a line in it about Winston Churchill in drag, which I'd never noticed before. Is E referring to this in 'Your Lucky Day in Hell'?

People in the UK can listen to Gideon Coe's show on 6 Music from last Wednesday for a bit of a tribute. It's not all Ayers, but there's plenty of him and Soft Machine stuff in there.

The bassline from 'Sonnet No. 3 (Like a Duck)' could be played over 'Wonderful, Glorious' (the song) and it would fit perfectly.

I’m Your Brave Little Soldier

Personally, I'm not that bothered, but just how many of you have been waiting for this?  :D

I'll probably be grinning daftly at the Leeds show. I'll understand if you claim to not know me.

Intro/verse: G D C D

pre-chorus: Bb F Em Am Bb F

Chorus: G D C D

other bit immediately after chorus: G C G C

That's it as far as I can tell. Shouldn't really need to write it out in any more detail than that - it's pretty simple  :-*

Possibly.....I definitely posted about it on Facebook the other week, owing to Keown's appearance on Match of the Day, unabashed self-publicist that I am.

Shortish review from the Quietus that I broadly agree with, especially on the production values.

Had a quick peek at your tweets from the last few days, but was disappointed by the lack of cheese therein.
One thing did pique my interest however... I'm entered in your phonebook as 'Pops Cakes'?   ::)

Haha. That's just what came up with the predictive thing - it reminded me of that giant jaffa cake that you brought to ATP that year (it was you that made that, right? If it wasn't, don't tell me or it'll spoil the illusion of nominative determinism).

I'm @sirwilliam99. I tend to only post about cheese though.

Not sure if anyone's interested, but Nick Cave's streaming his new album on the Grauniad today. I've only ever been lukewarm about Cave's music, but I have to say that half-way through this I'm very impressed.

I think My Bloody Valentine are a decent band who've produced some interesting stuff, but to me their music has always seemed like a triumph of technique over actual content/imagination. They don't really appeal to me beyond a chin-stroking 'hmmm yes that's interesting' level.
